Bishop Cecil Alexander Pratt
(1926 – 2017)
Bishop Cecil A. Pratt, Jr., a visionary, chosen and richly blessed of God, a man who sees himself as a shepherd who meets the needs of his flock, the ministry and the people of God everywhere. As he seeks to reach the lost at any cost through the power of the Holy Ghost, God continues to give him what he needs to carry out that mandate.
Bishop Pratt held the position of Senior Pastor and Chairman of the Board of Church of Jesus Family Worship Center. He is a great and zealous man who has diligently served the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.), Inc. in many capacities for over fifty years. Bishop Pratt serves as the Diocesan of District 42, Togo Africa.
Bishop Pratt continues to instill the roots of good leadership and in-depth teaching of the Gospel so that it can be seen all across this country. He has numerous Spiritual Sons and Daughters who are now pastoring churches and evangelizing in various ministerial capacities.
Bishop Pratt has been blessed through his marriage to Suffragan Bishop Ann Storey-Pratt. Suffragan Bishop Pratt is a vibrant woman of God, high favored, a blessed woman that works diligently to help Bishop Pratt’s vision and dreams come to fruition. The “Dynamic Duo” have been married and ministering together for over twenty-six years. Suffragan Bishop Pratt assists as the Co-Pastor of the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center.
Under Bishop and Suffragan Bishop Pratt’s leadership, the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center Campus established an Early Childcare Development Center, Precious Gifts Daycare and Learning Center, a state certified Black owned and operated Daycare and Headstart Program in Clark County, which offers two-shift operation. As well as, Spring Academy of Excellence which is the first Community School (sometimes referred to as “Charter School”), in the City of Springfield. Co-Pastor Ann Storey Pratt serves as the Superintendent of the school and the Administrator of the daycare.
Bishop Pratt’s love for community and the children has made all this possible. A chosen man of God, Bishop Pratt was given this vision and without the leading of the Lord this would not have been possible
Bishop Pratt has given a theme that the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center has adopted, “My only limit with God is my inability to believe.”
